Zero Deposit Option

Zero Deposit Option

Rent with Reposit

What is a Zero Deposit Option?

Renting a new home often requires a traditional security deposit, typically several weeks’ worth of rent. Reposit offers an alternative, allowing you to move in without tying up a large sum of money. Instead of a standard deposit, you pay a one-time, non-refundable service charge equal to one week's rent. This gives your landlord added protection through an insurance-backed guarantee while reducing your upfront costs.

Why Choose Reposit?

  • Lower upfront costs
Free up your money for moving expenses or other priorities.
  • Quick and simple
No waiting for deposit refunds at the end of your tenancy.
  • Fair and transparent
Any claims are handled independently to ensure fairness for all parties.

How It Works

1

Find your ideal property

If the landlord accepts Reposit, you can choose the No Deposit Option instead of paying a traditional deposit.

2

Pass referencing checks

Standard affordability and suitability checks still apply.

3

Pay a one-time Reposit service charge

Equivalent to one week’s rent, rather than a larger deposit.

4

Move in and enjoy your new home

You remain responsible for any damages or unpaid rent, just as you would with a standard deposit.

5

End of tenancy process

If no charges apply, your Reposit will close automatically 14 days after the tenancy ends. If a claim is made, you will have the opportunity to review and dispute it through an independent adjudication process.

Important to Know

Reposit is not a deposit

It is an alternative solution backed by an insurance policy.

The service charge is non-refundable

This fee cannot be reclaimed or used to offset any potential end-of-tenancy costs.

You remain responsible

Any damages or unpaid rent must still be covered by you as a tenant.

Claims are resolved independently

Any disputes are reviewed by a third-party adjudicator.
