This Christmas is proving to be another special one, with Mission Christmas – Cash for Kids!

We are delighted to announce that we are once again supporting one of the biggest Christmas gift appeals in the UK; Mission Christmas, Cash for Kids - in conjunction with Hits Radio NE.

Cash for Kids is Bauer Media’s official children’s charity, and it works all year round to help improve the lives of disadvantaged children, so this truly is an incredible cause to get behind.

The Cash for Kids Christmas mission aims to make Christmas day better for children and young people living in poverty across the UK. Celebrating Christmas is a luxury that some people simply cannot afford, and so by collecting and distributing gifts and cash donations, Mission Christmas can ensure that even disadvantaged children living in poverty, with sickness or neglect, have something to open on Christmas Day.

Through community organisations such as social workers, schools, and the emergency services, the Cash for Kids charity can identify children living in poverty and provides support to make certain that help is given to those who need it most.

At Pattinson Estate Agency we have the benefit of having 30 Pattinson branches spanning across the North East, including a large HQ at the Silverlink business park with the Pattinson regional call centre located next-door, all offices are serving as drop off and collection points for donations. Gifts can be for children ages 0-18, and some ideas for donations are; toys, dolls, scooters, cars, books, Lego, arts and crafts, rucksacks, hats, scarves, gloves etc.

Gift donations must be new and can be taken to one of the branches before December 15th or the Pattinson HQ at Silverlink. Not just at Christmas, but also throughout the remainder of the year, we continuously support worthy causes, and as a family run business, we are particularly keen to try to ‘give back’ to the North East Community. For the last eight years or so, we have had a fund with the Community Foundation through which we have made grants of over £50,000 over those years. In addition to supporting these charities financially, through our marketing and PR work, we help shine a spotlight on the fantastic work that they do and help to raise their profiles.
