We have been talking about the Tales on the Tyne trail for a year now, and excited about being proud sponsors of a Peter Rabbit sculpture, 'Northern Lights' Peter, which is located in Exhibition Park - pictured here!
Last Wednesday we attended the official launch of the Trail which took place at the Civic Centre in Newcastle. We were joined by trail artist Tommy Anderson, children from a North Tyneside school and young people from a Newcastle youth group who also helped paint a Peter Rabbit sculpture. There were speeches by other sponsors who officially declared the trail open before media interviews, photos and filming began!
What a wholesome morning! The love and affinity for Peter Rabbit spans across all generations, from babies to the elderly and everyone in between, and we are thrilled to be sculpture sponsors and give our continued support to St Oswalds Hospice.
