Pattinson Estate Agency Welcomes New Customers as It Takes Over Browns Estate Agency in Stockton and Norton

We are pleased to announce our takeover of Browns Estate Agents, a well-established and respected estate agency in Stockton and Norton, Teesside. Our news comes just two months after our takeover of Ryedales Estate Agency in Cramlington at the end of last year. 

Owners of Browns Estate Agency, Chris and Trish Brown are retiring. As a result of the takeover, most of their staff have transferred to our Stockton Pattinson branch, and others have stayed at the Norton branch which has become our 27th office in the North East. Simon Brown will continue in the business with his Survey and professional work, and all auction business will be transferred to our national award-winning auction facility, Pattinson Auction. 

Chris and Trish have addressed, and more importantly, reassured all customers; ‘After over 33 years of successful business, we are now looking to retire. The decision has not been easy, and we would like to reassure all our existing customers, whether sellers and/or landlords, that they will continue to receive a high level of service without inconvenience or disruption. We have taken the decision to transfer the estate agency business which will include all properties currently marketed, ongoing sales, lettings and property management, to Pattinson Estate Agency with effect from 1st February 2024. We have chosen Pattinsons as we have a long history with the family and the business has a very similar focus to us. Like us they are also an independent family owned and run estate agency. For clients we anticipate that there will be very little change as the existing teams will continue to look after you under the Pattinson brand. Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers past and present who have shown us their continued support in our business over the decades.’
