Pattinson Estate Agency Makes Donation Following the Sale of a Property Gifted to The Community Foundation

We are proud to announce the successful sale of a property in Gosforth, which was generously gifted to The Community Foundation. And in line with our ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community, we will donate the entire fee from this sale to the Foundation. 

We have built up the fund with The Community Foundation which each year distributes money to local charities from smaller amounts of £500/£1000 to larger sums, focusing on local lesser-known charities for homeless and rehabilitated offenders, as well as survivors of domestic abuse. 

The Community Foundation has received over £50,000 in donations from us over the last eight years. This fund enables critical support for diverse causes throughout the region, embodying our agency’s philosophy of making meaningful contributions to the communities we serve. 

For decades, our founder and CEO, Keith Pattinson, has championed innovative ways to assist charities. His practical approach often involves selling properties like church halls, scout huts, and surplus rental properties for organisations. Instead of merely donating money, Keith provides Pro Bono services by waiving or significantly reducing fees, saving charities valuable funds they can reinvest in their causes. 

‘This initiative was born from a simple but practical idea: why donate money when we can save charities even more by offering our expertise for free or at a reduced cost?’ Keith Pattinson explained. 

In addition to his hands-on support for property-related charitable projects, Keith is a passionate advocate for local causes. He frequently supports participants in the Great North Run and serves as an Ambassador for Northumberland Hospice, underlining his dedication to improving lives across the North East. 

Keith continues, ‘We are incredibly proud to collaborate with The Community Foundation and to continue making a difference in our region. It’s not just about selling properties; it’s about fostering community spirit and making every effort to give back where we can.’
