Over the last month we have had huge success here at Pattinson (North East) Auction.

As always, we have listed a variety of property types, as well as new build style properties, which have sold quickly and attracted multiple bidders. Proving that we are continuing to pave the way in the auction field, as we strive to move away from the common myth that only cheap properties in disrepair are suitable for auction.

Having said that, we have made the headlines again by listing a ‘One Pound Property’! This one was in Benwell, and gained multiple offers even within an hour of it going live! We had to close the auction early due to the amount of interest received, and we are thrilled to announce that after 98 serious bids, the property sold for a whopping £100,000!

Auction is most often the fastest and most transparent method of sale and attracts committed and serious buyers. With this one, thankfully the property owner trusted the power of auction and the power of the pound (the starting bid!) and trusted us to market the property knowing we would attract the right buyers.
