Not long to go now!

On Wednesday 15th July, the Peter Rabbit, Tales on the Tyne trail will officially begin, bringing more than 40 individually designed Peter Rabbit sculptures to parks, streets and public spaces across the region in support of St Oswald’s Hospice, and we are so happy to be part of it!

As proud sponsors of one of the sculptures (the ‘Northern Lights,’ Peter) we are excited to support an event that celebrates creativity, community spirit and the North East, while also raising vital funds for families supported by St Oswald’s Hospice.

The trail follows the huge success of previous North East art trails including Great North Snowdogs, Elmer’s Great North Parade and Shaun on the Tyne, all of which brought thousands of visitors into the region and generated incredible support for hospice care. This latest event also marks two special milestones; the 40th anniversary of St Oswald’s Hospice and the 160th anniversary of Beatrix Potter’s birth!

Visitors will be able to follow the trail using an app and map, unlocking fun facts and rewards along the way. We have our own Pattinson reward on the app so look out for how you could win a £250 home upgrade!

We believe being part of the North East means more than simply helping people move home, it means supporting the communities we serve. With 30 branches stretching from Northumberland to Stockton and everywhere in between, we are proud to support projects that bring people together, celebrate our region and make a real difference.

We can’t wait to reveal our sponsored Peter Rabbit sculpture and see the trail come to life this summer, so watch this space for first exclusive photos of our ‘Northern Lights’ designed Peter!
