This month, our Charity Spotlight is on the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, which is a place doing truly wonderful work.
On Wednesday, Iain and Drew from our North East Auction team popped down with carloads of bedding, dog food, and cat food to donate. They were warmly welcomed by two of the staff Emma and Jack, who took time out of their busy day to show them around.
It’s always heartwarming to see just how much care and dedication goes into looking after every single animal, from the wagging tails to the curious cats peeking out to say hello. Hearing the stories from the team about the lives they’re changing every day really brought home the importance of supporting such a vital local charity.
Both dog owners and animal lovers themselves, Iain and Drew left feeling inspired, a tad emotional, and of course a little bit tempted to bring home a furry friend or two!
