Our Pattinson Estate Agency Community Foundation Fund, it is a fund which we set up to mark our 40th Anniversary almost 7 years ago, and through it we can give grants to a range of smaller charities across the region. We have now hit the milestone of making £50,000 in donations via the fund and we are delighted with the feedback which we have received.

This month we are shining a light on ‘Wearside Women in Need,’ a Specialist Domestic Abuse Service who provide move-in packs for women and their children moving into new accommodation. Becky Rogerson the Director of ‘Wearside Women in Need’ wrote to thank us for our donation; 'On behalf of the hundreds of women and children that engage with our accommodation and community services every year, I would like to thank you for your continued support. It’s a clear acknowledgement of the difficulties caused by domestic abuse and your grant really makes a difference to families leaving our refuges.' 

Unrelated to the Community Foundation, you may remember we ran a campaign in December with the charity, Cash For Kids and their annual Christmas Mission. This week we received a heartwarming ‘thank you’ letter from the Cash For Kids charity thanking us for our support, ‘l am writing on behalf of Cash for Kids to say a huge thank you to you and the full team at Pattinson Estate Agency for the outstanding support you gave us for our annual Mission Christmas campaign. We were determined that the children we helped would not go without on Christmas morning.’
