Charity Spotlight

As you may remember, in February, we celebrated reaching the milestone of donating £50,000 in grants to several charities via the Community Foundation.

This month we are shining a light on another charity that we support through the Community Foundation, ‘Moving On (Durham)’ which is Durham’s leading youth homelessness charity. They have been helping vulnerable young people find safe places to live for over 30 years. Every young person deserves a safe home and a fresh start, and so the aim of ‘Moving On’ is to break the cycle of homelessness in County Durham. This worthy charity strives to enable young people’s transition from a place of chaos to a position of security, knowledge and confidence.

Here at Pattinson Estate Agency, we are happy to report that for this charity alone, we have donated £750.00 this past year, which has contributed towards practical household items for young people who are moving into settled accommodation.
