Congratulations, you've made the exciting decision to rent a new home! This document is designed to give you an insight as to how renting a property through Pattinson works, and also to answer some frequently asked questions that you may have.
Understanding our service levels
When you decide to rent through Pattinson, the branch will make you aware whether it is a “Fully Managed” or “Tenancy Only” property that you are applying for.
Our Fully Managed service means that your only contact during your tenancy will be with Pattinson, and not with your landlord direct. We will organise everything from your viewings, referencing and Tenancy Agreements, right through to your actual move into the property.
Once you are settled in, any maintenance issues you may have will be reported direct to our Maintenance Department, and should you wish to remain in the property after your first tenancy expires, our Property Management team will assist you with renewing your lease too. From day one, you will have a dedicated Property Coordinator to go to for general queries, and they will also visit you every three months to ensure all is well.
If your property is being let through Pattinson on a Tenancy Only basis, this means that once you are referenced and have signed your paperwork and paid your initial monies, you will then deal with your landlord direct for any queries or issues you may have. The landlord's details will be provided to you on your day of move in.
