2 bed barn conversion to buy in DH6

*** A FAMILY HOME FOR GENERATIONS TO COME ***

Welcome to Low Raisby Farm, nicely nestled against the backdrop of the County Durham countryside on the outskirts of the village of Kelloe, just a 15 minute drive from Durham City Centre.

Located on the farm sits this 300 year old, stone-built barn which was converted into a family home some time ago. Not only is this fantastically spacious house on offer, but also two impressively large gardens, pond, several outbuildings and drive for ample parking.

The property offers much in the way of potential for the right buyer to come along and put their own stamp on it. The main house does require renovation, but there is also potential to transform the outbuildings (planning permission may be required).

The main house has an oil central heating system and boasts two large living spaces, which are the lounge and kitchen/diner as well as having access to a side room off the kitchen. Ascend the staircase in the lounge to arrive at a large landing, providing access to two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Access to the large enclosed rear garden is via the kitchen and the larger enclosed front garden via the front porch and lounge. The outbuildings are also accessible via the front garden as well as the large drive way and pond (which you pass to arrive to the house).

The current owners have told of heart-warming stories while growing up in what was their childhood home, good times filled with love and laughter. Now the house is waiting for a new family to make new magical and fond memories with.
