Auction Update for June

A word from our Auction Director, Justin Beckwith...

Pattinson Auction has had a brilliant start in Spain since launching operations there in April. It's been tremendous to see the success we have had in such a short period of time, and particularly gratifying to celebrate our first property sale last week, just a few weeks after launch. This is a testament to the hard work of our team, both in Spain and here at our Head Quarters in the UK, as well as the trust clients have put in us to facilitate their business goals. We also have an impressive portfolio of listings in Spain, including an exciting offering of an island in Chile.  

With the diversity of our property listings overall, we're confident we can find the right solutions for our customers, and partner agents, no matter what their objectives may be.  

Across our branch network, we are unfortunately seeing some property sales on the open market fall through for a variety of reasons, sometimes it is a result of a buyer or seller changing their mind about moving, a chain collapses or a property is downvalued at survey.  When property sales fall through, it is frustrating for everyone involved, however, sellers opting to use the option of selling via auction have the security of a buyer committed to the purchase, with a non-refundable deposit and fixed time scale for exchange and completion. 

Our auction mission is to make buying and selling property more accessible and efficient, and we are without doubt on the right track. We truly value the relationship we have with our clients and are thankful for your continued support.
