Low Fell

Low Fell is an affluent area with a village feel situated in the borough of Gateshead and bordered by Sheriff Hill, Deckham to the east, Saltwell, Bensham to the west, Shipcote to the north and Harlow Green to the south. The main bus route into Gateshead town centre and Newcastle ideally runs central through Low Fell and take just ten to fifteen minutes to reach the desired destination. If travelling by car Low fell is within close proximity to the principle road, the A167 providing easy access into Historical Durham and access to the A1 is easily gained by driving past the legendary landmark 'The Angel of the North'.

Low Fell and Durham Road in particular is home to numerous public houses, cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. Considered one of Britain's finest examples of a Victorian Park, Saltwell Park is central to Low Fell and was subject to a £9.6 million restoration project in 2011, and is home to two million visitors a year.

Low fell is an ideal place for young families and boasts some great Education Centres and local schools.
