Description

We are seeking an experienced property professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager. The role maintains two primary remits - to bring new clients on board (whilst ensuring existing clients are nurtured and managed effectively whilst opportunities to increase revenue for both ourselves and our Partners are maximised). And secondly to identify promote and extract potential auction lots from our Partners stock and also their clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, building, and maintaining relationships whilst also having a portfolio of self-created successes during their career and which can be illustrated. Harbouring a 'can do' attitude is key for success, as approximately 95% of the role is self gen'.
You will be given the autonomy to manage your own diary and build long lasting relationships with key stakeholders to drive results and get new businesses on board. This is not your average sales role; you will be building relationships, 'selling' the benefits of the service we supply to clients and have an understanding of a competitive sector which does offer a versatile and challenging work environment, with also freedom from the typical mundane property industry role.

Skills and Experience

Experience in the property industry is desirable - to a minimum of three years of Valuer or Branch Manager level.
Experience within property auctions although not essential, would be advantageous
Proven track-record in generating new business / revenue
B2B sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
Must be highly organised, motivated and looking to join an innovative, forward thinking company.
Ability to cold call - from both a face to face and telephone approach
Ability to maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company’s services.
Effective Communicator - must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Prompt and accurate reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis and also as required
Excel and IT systems skills
Ability to present to groups in both physical and virtual environments with the use of PowerPoint

,We are seeking for the successful candidate to take up the position in early 2021, following a two-week training induction schedule.

We have 3 positions available in the Southern area, they will cover:
1: South West: Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Devon & Cornwall
2: South West London and the South from Brighton to the Solent
3: South East London, Kent and East Sussex.
