Those who are thinking of investing in property may find that now is a
good time to buy, it has been suggested...
According to FirstRungNow.com, falling
prices could represent opportunities for those who are looking to enter the
market.
Managing Director of the site Helen Adams stated that a lot of homeowners may
be "desperate to sell" in the current climate and as such there could
be bargains available.
"For those first-time buyers who have a guarantor or a hefty deposit, this
could be seen as a potentially good time to buy," she said.
Her comments follow findings from Halifax that house prices
fell by 2.6 per cent in November.
The bank noted that the drop represents a decline of nearly 15 per cent over
the last 12 months, with consumers now seeing values that are at a similar level
to those of nearly three-and-a-half years ago.
