Lucy Tees Off To Help HomeBuyers
As a keen golfer, Lucy Newton is enjoying the freedom to work flexible hours in her role as a self employed agent working from home, and it's not just Pattinson vendors and homebuyers who are benefiting from her enthusiasm for homeworking - Lucy's golf game has also improved!
Lucy says: "I previously worked in a Pattinson branch but found it hard to fit in all my golf commitments, particularly as I'm now vice captain for Northumberland County.
"I'm now part of a network of agents offering an additional level of support for our property sellers and buyers and work the hours I choose. Usually I work over the weekend and during the evening, which is more convenient for most of our customers. In fact, many of my clients have commented on how happy they are to be able to chat to someone about their property sale or arrange a viewing at a time that suits them."
Head of Pattinson home-working, Sarah Meakin, welcomes the growing interest in home working and says: "A happy work-life balance is now more achievable than ever, whether that additional quality time is spent on a leisure interest like Lucy or with family.
"We offer our home-workers comprehensive training in all areas of estate agency, covering everything from sales, valuing, lettings, auction and commercial property to mortgages, property inspections and surveys. All under the umbrella of Pattinson, the largest independent estate agency in the region."
