Keri 'homes in' on new career after nine year break

Keri McMuller, Pattinson Agent Moving back into work after a lengthy career break can be difficult and receiving the right training and support is crucial to making a successful transition.

Keri McMullen faced this dilemma after nine years spent raising her young family, when she decided that the time was right to focus on her career once more. Confident that the support systems would be available to her, she applied to become a self-employed Pattinson agent working from home.

She commented: "After my initial application made through the Pattinson website I spoke to Sarah Meakin, the head of the homeworker division. She explained I'd receive comprehensive training in all areas of estate agency, covering everything from sales, lettings, auction and commercial, to mortgages, property inspections and surveys.

"The training was in-depth, delivered in straight-forward sections and flexible, so I could combine it with taking care of my children outside of their school hours.

"Teamed with the support of the other Pattinson staff, it's equipped me with the confidence and knowledge needed to develop in my new career. I can choose where and when I work and I'm currently enjoying working from the comfort of my own home answering customer queries, arranging viewings and matching thousands of potential homebuyers to suitable properties."

Keri is part of the Pattinson network of agents working from home across the region, 29 high street branches and an extended hours customer contact centre. To contact your local agent working from home call 0845 155 0333, or for more information on Pattinson homeworking click here.
