Swimming Pools create waves amongst north east house hunters
New survey results released this week by Pattinson reveal that a swimming pool is the one luxury most North East homebuyers would love to have.
The poll, which featured on the agency's website www.pattinson.co.uk, showed that almost 40% of people in the North East dream of cooling off in their very own pool, while a home recording studio and football pitch also featured strongly.
In contrast, tennis courts, home cinemas and games rooms hold minimal appeal for the region's homebuyers attracting just 7%, 5% and 6% of the vote respectively.
Managing director, Justin Anim, comments: "Hundreds of people took part in the survey while they were online looking for a new home and keeping up to date with property news.
The results are a good indication of what's currently 'hot' in property and the surprisingly high ranking of a recording studio gives an insight into the changing wants of today's housebuyers."
